Starting your child’s journey into prep flyer

Our guest speakers will be a principal and vice principal from a local primary school, a prep teacher from a different local primary school and an occupational therapist. Our teachers, Heather and Kirsty, will also be sharing their knowledge of how you are able to assist your child’s learning journey from the commencement in a kindergarten program to entry into prep.

This discussion is for anyone you know that may have a child thinking about going into a 3 year old program in coming years, or a child currently enrolled in a 3 or 4 year old program in any service.

You are invited to bring a friend/friends with you to join in the discussion. This is an open invitation and not just for the Ascot Kindergarten community. Please feel free to share the date and information with friends and your local playgroup

Information Session: Getting ready for prep

We are hosting an evening for families who would like information about how 3 and 4 year-old kindergarten programs assist children to be “ready for prep”.

Our kinder teachers will be speaking, along with prep teachers from Ascot Vale Primary, Flemington Primary and St Brendans Primary.

The prep teachers will share information about the individual programs they offer, emphasising the skills and attributes they feel are important to assist in a successful transition to prep.

The session is open to all families who are thinking of enrolling in a 3 or 4 year-old kindergarten program and those who are already attending a kindergarten program.  This event is open to all members of the local community so please feel free to pass this information on to family and friends.
