At Ascot Kindergarten we recognise that each child is unique and we are committed to providing a stimulating learning program which reflects students’ individual interests.
Our passionate and dedicated staff offer quality, play-based education in both our three-year-old and four-year-old programs. We offer a friendly environment that welcomes the involvement of our families and community.
Ascot Kindergarten is a community-managed, not for profit kindergarten that was established by local residents in 1946 and is still managed by a volunteer parent committee today.
Ascot Kindergarten is a Child Safe Organisation and committed to the safety and well being of all children.
In order to best keep our kinder and wider community safe, we unfortunately are not able to offer a tour at the present moment. However, we have attached a virtual tour for you to get a brief overview of our kinder. If you have any questions, please feel free to call and have a chat (Wednesdays between 9 and 1:30 is best but if you email us, we may be able to arrange another time). We are also available via email, and you should check out the photos of our kinder in our Gallery!
A Quick Glimpse of Our Kinder!
We are greatly saddened by the impact the current pandemic is having on our students. Early childhood education is vitally important and the social and emotional benefits that kindergarten provides for student development is invaluable. Ascot Kinder are striving to support all families and students during this time.
Families of students enrolled in our four-year-old program have received communication regarding Term Two (see link below). This letter outlines the funding that the Victoria State Government is providing for all students enrolled in our four-year old program, which means there are no fees payable for term two.
We are enjoying the interaction with children and families who are not attending through our fun online program. This allows students to maintain relationships with both the staff and their peers and stay connected to the kindergarten and community.
As schools are beginning to open to students in Victoria, some families have indicated that they would like their child to begin attending kindergarten again. We are happy to announce that we have been able to resume our regular three-year-old program (commencing May the 25th).
