Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising cake stall at Flemington Farmers’ Market on Sunday 7th May.  Fortunately we had lovely weather on the day and lots of customers for our baking.  We managed to sell all of the baking before the market even finished! So thank you to those of you who baked the delicious baking and to those of you who volunteered to help on the stall. We couldn’t do it without your support.

We also sold lots of ELAA raffle tickets at the market and we raised a combined total of $725.79. This money will be spent on buying new climbing and play equipment for the kinder.

To help raise money to upgrade our outdoor climbing equipment area, we are taking part in the Caring for Kids fundraising raffle organised by ELAA and Playgroup Victoria.  There are some great prizes this year and we need your help selling (or buying) tickets.

Thanks to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Quiz night. We ended up with a profit of just under $4,000 and this money will be put towards a large shade umbrella in the outdoor area. Our ticket sales accounted for roughly half of the money raised and the rest was made on the night through games, a raffle and auction. John Morillo from Jellis Craig, Kensington was our auctioneer and did a great job raising $1,185 from 12 auction lots. He also generously donated $500 to the kinder on the night.

Thank you to everybody who volunteered at the Bunnings’ BBQ last month.  We’re very grateful for all the help we received and are very pleased to announce that we raised over $1,300.

We’ve also been notified of the final results of the Caring for Kids raffle held earlier in the year and we raised $940 for the kindergarten.  A big thank you to Fiona Macri for organising this again this year and thank you to everyone for the great effort buying and selling tickets. We finished in the top 20 ticket sellers this year!  Unfortunately we didn’t sell the winning ticket, but it was sold close to home with Progress Kindergarten taking the honour. Thank you to everybody who contributed to the success of the Cake Stall that was recently held at Flemington Farmers Market.  We are pleased to announce that we raised $875 as a result everyone’s efforts. These funds will be allocated to purchase new equipment for the sandpit. Our next fundraising event is a Bunnings BBQ to be held at the Maribyrnong store on Saturday 23^rd of July 2016.  We’ll be looking for volunteers in the coming weeks to help cook and sell sausages on the day, so if baking wasn’t your thing, this might be the fundraising event for you!
