Fundraising Update- Quiz Night and Tea Towels

Thanks to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Quiz night. We ended up with a profit of just under $4,000 and this money will be put towards a large shade umbrella in the outdoor area. Our ticket sales accounted for roughly half of the money raised and the rest was made on the night through games, a raffle and auction. John Morillo from Jellis Craig, Kensington was our auctioneer and did a great job raising $1,185 from 12 auction lots. He also generously donated $500 to the kinder on the night.

I’d like to thank everyone who made the Quiz night possible:

Our 2016 tea towels have arrived and are currently being distributed, so please let me know if you have not received your order. While the primary aim of the tea towels isn’t fundraising, we have made a small profit of $ 430 from their sale.

Finally, thank you to everyone who supported fundraising this year. We have raised well over $7000 which has helped to provide new equipment and resources for our children.

Enjoy your holidays and best wishes for 2017!
